This park is a hidden treasure in the city. There’s a new playground, a shelter, picnic tables, restrooms, walking paths and a stream. Parking is very limited so be prepared. You may want to bring some sandals or water shoes to play in the stream.

Alum Spring Park is located at 1 Greenbrier Drive, Fredericksburg 22401. It’s open from dawn till dusk.
