  • Home Depot offers FREE in-store children’s workshops the first Saturday of the month from 9 am – Noon while supplies last. Pre-registration is offered but not required. Paint is also provided if your children want to paint.
  • Lowe’s offers FREE in-store children’s workshops each month (dates vary), but you MUST pre-register for these. There is no painting involved.
  • JcPenney’s Kids Zone offers FREE crafts the 2nd Saturday of each month from 11 am – Noon.
  • Micahels offers FREE Craft Sunday Make Break Events. These in-store events happen between 2-4 pm. Check their schedule as they do offer some Saturday events.

SPECIAL FEBRUARY DEALS

The gardens at Agecroft Hall in Richmond are free for the months of January and February, Tuesdays – Sundays, Noon – 5 pm.

Miss Minerva’s Tea Room in Culpeper is hosting special Anastasia Valentine’s Day teas Feb. 14-17. These are by reservation only. Follow the link for contact information. Their normal (non-event) afternoon teas run from “$16.50 to 37.50. Their special teas like Valentine’s have 2 preset menus, 1 dessert option at $20.00 and a fancier option that ranges from $45 to 55 depending on what is being served.
