- Home Depot offers FREE in-store children’s workshops the first Saturday of the month from 9 am – Noon while supplies last. Pre-registration is offered but not required. Paint is also provided if your children want to paint.
- JcPenney’s Kids Zone offers FREE crafts the 2nd Saturday of each month from 11 am – Noon.
- Micahels offers FREE Craft Sunday Make Break Events. These in-store events happen between 2-4 pm. Check their schedule as they do offer some Saturday events.

Around the Town Trolley in Fredericksburg runs Friday and Saturday evenings from 5-8:30 pm, May 30-Aug. 30, 2025.
Faded and Co. is offering FREE Haircuts in the Library the 1st and 3rd Mondays from 10 am – 1 pm at the Fredericksburg Branch library.
Market Sprouts: June 7-Aug. 16, 2025– Join the Fredericksburg Farmers Market and explore fruits, vegetables, and more with fun weekly activities.
PoP Club is offered at the Spotsylvania County Farmers Market’s Wednesday Market, July through early August, while schools are on summer break. Kids of all ages are welcome, but it is geared for ages 3-10. Each child that participates gets $2 in market tokens.
Science Museum of Virginia: From May 30 through August 29, 2025, the museum will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Fridays, to provide additional time to explore exhibits like Ultimate Dinosaurs and Dinosaurs of Antarctica.
Teacher Appreciation Week at Great Country Farms–Visit the farm from June 23-29, 2025, with a valid teacher ID or home school documentation, and enjoy free admission for you and your immediate family members.

EVO Kidflix — A different movie every week for 10 weeks. Movies are only $1. This runs May 30 – August 7, 2025. IT DOESN’T LOOK LIKE THE FREDERICKSBURG LOCATION IS INCLUDED IN THIS!- EVO has been purchased by Hooky. Waiting to see if they will be offering summer movies.
- Regal’s Summer Movie Express will run June 10 – August 6, 2025, on Tues and Wed. All movies are $1. Snack packs are only $5. If you join Regal’s Crown Club (FREE), you can get 50% off of popcorn every Tuesday. Regal has locations in Fredericksburg and Culpeper.
