- Lowe’s offers FREE in-store children’s workshops each month (dates vary), but you MUST pre-register for these. There is no painting involved.
- JcPenney’s Kids Zone offers FREE crafts the 2nd Saturday of each month from 11 am – Noon.
- Micahels offers FREE Craft Sunday Make Break Events. These in-store events happen between 2-4 pm. Check their schedule as they do offer some Saturday events.
- Free books for children (12 and under) at a Rappahannock Goodwill location. Every child aged 12 and under gets any book of their choosing for FREE! Valid every Friday starting 9/6/24. Find a Goodwill near you at http://www.fredgoodwill.org
HOMESCHOOL DEALS
- State Climb in Culpeper is offering Homeschool Hangout on Mondays from 3-4:30 pm. $10 per visit. Now RSVP is needed. Just show up. Runs Jan – May.
- Beginning January 9, 2025, PlayDate Culpeper will be open for homeschoolers form 2-3 pm on Thursdays. After the home school hour ends, you can stay and use the museum from 3-6 pm at no additional charge.

Open – 4 pm, 90-minutes of gameplay, soft drinks & E-Tickets for just $11.99 - Lake Anna State Park offers a series of Homeschool Adventures classes. These are held one day per month from 10 am – 1 pm and are for students ages 8-12. There is a $5/class.
