Round Hill Farm is a 700 acre crop and cattle farm located in beautiful Orange County Virginia. A tractor-drawn hayride carries your group to the Pumpkin Patch where you can pick-your-own pumpkin. There are also pre-picked pumpkins at the farm’s open-air market which also sells colored mums, apples, and corn stalks. Their barnyard petting zoo has more than 30 farm animals. My kids especially loved visiting the emus. You can also enjoy the picnic area and playgrounds. You can get lost in one of the two hay bale mazes or take a pony ride on one of the farms adorable ponies. If you’re visiting on the weekend, you’ll be able to enjoy several additional activities.
We headed to this farm for a school field trip. Our group had the farm to ourselves. It was wonderful. We had a great time visiting the animals and picking our pumpkins. We had plenty to do without all the extra activities.
